What Does This Warranty Cover?

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of your K&N Select Air Filter (the “Product”), with the exceptions stated below.

What Does This Warranty Not Cover?

This warranty does not cover damage due to (a) transportation, (b) storage, (c) improper use, (d) failure to follow the Product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance, (e) modifications, (f) unauthorized repair, (g) normal wear and tear, (h) any type of racing or competition, (i) any off-road use, or (j) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., acts of God and natural disasters).

How Long Does the Coverage Last?

This warranty lasts for 10 Years from the date the product was purchased. The warranty period will not be extended if we repair or replace the Product.

What Will K&N Do?

We will repair any Product that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship. If repair is not possible, we will either replace your Product with a new Product of similar composition and price, or refund the full purchase price of your Product, at our sole discretion. There is no charge for inspection.

This warranty only covers use on specific applications and applies to use as intended for. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide K&N with the intended application prior to installation.

What Does This Warranty Not Cover?

This warranty does not cover damage due to (a) transportation, (b) storage, (c) improper cleaning not conforming K&N cleaning instructions for Industrial Air Filter as linked here: https://www.knglobalfiltration.com/how-to-clean-your-industrial-air-filter-2/ , (d) improper use, (e) failure to follow the Product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance, (f) modifications, (g) unauthorized repair, (h) normal wear and tear, or (i) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., acts of God and natural disasters).

Industrial Air Filters are not designed to be exposed to welding fumes, paint solvents, oil mist, powdered substances, or used for liquid filtration or moisture separation. Filters may be deemed suitable for specific applications in which filters are exposed to forementioned substances by written approval of K&N only.

How Long Does the Coverage Last?

This warranty lasts for 5-years from the date the Product was purchased. Coverage applies only to the original purchaser of the Product and is non-transferable. If we repair or replace the Product, the warranty period will be extended with 5-years on the repaired and/or replaced Product only.

What Will K&N Do?

We will repair any Product that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship. If repair is not possible, we will either replace your Product with a new Product of similar composition and price, or refund the full purchase price of your Product, at our sole discretion. There is no charge for inspection.
