With the help of Harman Kardon, the Impulse’s expertly tuned speakers bring a new level of precision and clarity to in-helmet audio, plus an all new microphone for unprecedented outbound audio quality. The helmet boasts an integrated rear-facing taillight for rider visibility and a convenient retractable sun visor. Impulse was built with a DOT-rated composite fiberglass shell and has an intermediate oval fitment. Four strategically placed vents, a chin vent, top vent, and two exhaust vents allow airflow while riding. This helmet complies with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 218 (FMVSS 218).

Impulse features both Mesh and Bluetooth Intercom platforms, allowing users to connect with any Sena headset for rider-to-rider communication. Mesh Intercom brings robust, reliable connections and flexible intercom message routing with significant enhancements to Sena’s Mesh algorithm. Mesh offers an unprecedented level of intercom audio quality with two Mesh settings, Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom and Group Mesh Intercom.

 

INTUITIVE VOICE COMMANDS ALLOW RIDERS TO FOCUS ON THE ROAD

Voice Commands allow riders to speak directly to their Impulse helmet while keeping their hands safely on the handlebars. Take control of the Impulse’s functions, like answering the phone or starting a Group Mesh session. Impulse supports Voice Commands in 8 languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, and Russian. Digital assistant access allows the Impulse to connect to Google Assistant and Apple’s Siri with a simple voice command enabling you to tap into your smartphone’s features, including GPS navigation, music playback, voice dialing, and more. All you need to do is ask: “Hey Siri” or “Hey Google”! Running low on gas? “Hey Google, please give me directions to the nearest gas station.”
